| Pollution Prevention (P2) Model Shop Report - Civil Engineering |
Provides a tool for conducting OAs. For a typical shop within a particular functional area (civil engineering operations), the report identifies the processes performed, the material inputs, the wastes generated, and a list of P2 opportunities that can be implemented. The report includes detailed descriptions of the opportunities and sources of equipment and information, and also provides cost estimates to calculate payback. Bases can use the reports as an aid in conducting in-house OAs or to reduce the costs of doing OAs by contract because much of the leg work is already done.
