The CTIAC and its staff, draw upon the work of such groups as European Cement Association (CEM-BUREAU), Portland Cement Association (PCA), American Concrete Institute (ACI), Transportation Research Board (TRB), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), RILEM, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) for information on the latest technologies and materials. The staff maintains membership in those organizations where memberships are available, and participates in developing and reviewing reports on new products and emerging technologies of those organizations.
CTIAC's scope covers all aspects of concrete technology, including:
- Analytical Procedures
- Chemical Admixtures
- Chemical Analysis
- Construction Methods
- Deformation
- Degradation
- Evaluation
- Fracture Mechanics
- Maintenance
- Mineral Admixtures
- Nondestructive Testing
- Portland-Cement Grout Mixtures
- Rehabilitation
- Reinforced & Mass Concrete Materials
- Reinforcing Materials
- Repair
- Test Methods
