CBIAC Newsletter Advertisers' Guidelines

Who May Advertise

Anyone dealing with scientific and engineering equipment and services and other commodities generally related to the mission and scope of the CBIAC may submit advertisements.

Advertising Policy

Advertising material must not imply (1) endorsement or specific approval of a commercial product, commodity, or service by any DoD Component, the CBIAC or Battelle, or (2) any form of discrimination or restriction on access to products or services based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, disabilities or political affiliation.

Content

All advertising is subject to CBIAC and Government approval. The CBIAC reserves the right to place the word "advertisement" with copy. Advertisers assume full responsibility for advertising content and for any claims arising therefrom, made against the Government, CBIAC or Battelle. Advertising must be truthful and accurate.

Copy Requirements

When submitting artwork please provide either printed, camera ready photographs, or electronic graphics that have a resolution of at least 150 dots per inch at the desired viewing size. Both PC and MAC files are acceptable. Artwork will not be returned unless specifically requested. If you have any questions please email businskyc@battelle.org. Material may be mailed to:

Deadline

All advertisements must be submitted six weeks before the distribution date of the issue. Contact cbiac@battelle.org for the deadlines for individual issues.

For multiple runs: Unless new copy is furnished in accordance with specific closing date, the previous issue's copy will be repeated.

Rates

Rates are based on frequency of insertions used within a 12-month period from the date of first insertion. All rates include tax.

Payment

Ads will be run after receiving payment in full in the first issue following the date of receipt of payment. The CBIAC will accept check/money order (made payable to Battelle, U.S. dollars only), purchase orders from U.S. Government agencies and credit cards including VISA, Master Card or American Express.

Check the payment method you will be using. Orders will be filled after receiving payment in full. For security reasons, if you would like to pay by credit card, you will be contacted to obtain your credit card number and the expiration date.
