Distance
Learning DTIC® has developed a Strategic Plan for Distance Learning. The goal of the effort is to deliver training to students at geographically diverse locations using advanced technologies such as the Internet and video and audio conferencing. The Distance Learning team has developed two web-based courses: "Introduction to DoD Scientific and Technical Information" and "Introduction to Web-Enabled DROLS." Go to http://training.dtic.mil, register and select from the course list. A third course, offering performance support
to SBIR grant recipients, will be available by the end of FY 2002. The
course will give electronic agent-led instructions for preparing the forms
associated with Technical Reports. It should clear up any confusion associated
with completing the Form SF 298.
