The Opportunity
DTIC's Research Summaries (RS) subscription
products are your one-source solution to the issues associated with DoD
research efforts. RS Subscription products give you the opportunity to
get exclusive access to RS on a continuous basis.
The RS Database
The RS database is a reporting system established to provide rapid exchange
of technical management data describing ongoing DoD research and technology
efforts. Each effort has a specific objective, finite duration, and results
in an end product. The RS database contains over 292,000 records of active
DoD research and technology efforts. Each record contains key information
such as the following:
- Record Accession Number
- Status of Effort
- Start Date of Effort
- Title
- Responsible Organization
- Performing Organization
- Responsible Individual and Phone Number
- Principal Investigator and Phone Number
- Funding Data
- Contract/Grant Number and Date
- Objective
- Approach
- Progress
The RS Subscription Program
With RS subscription products, you will find research that relates directly
to your profile without having to use complicated, computerized search
strategies. A DTIC® information retrieval analyst will work with you
to determine a report format that best suits your needs. You will then
receive a customized compilation of ongoing research efforts on a monthly,
quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis for only $25 per profile per year.
