Office of Health Policy

The Office of Health Policy (HP) is responsible for major activities in the areas of policy coordination, legislation development, strategic planning, policy research and evaluation, and economic analysis. The Office also calculates the Federal Medical Assistance Percentages (FMAP) which is used in determining the amount of Federal matching funds for some State welfare and health programs.
