AARP Foundation announces Fifth Annual National Aging and
Law Conference: “Advocacy in Action - Still Responding
to Challenges”, co-sponsored by the ABA Commission
on Law and Aging, the National Senior Citizens Law Center,
The Center for Social Gerontology, the Center for Medicare
Advocacy, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the
National Consumer Law Center, and the National Association
of State Units on Aging.

Providing integrated health and social care
for older persons - Facing the challenges
in Europe
Organized by:European Centre
for Social Welfare Policy and Research and PROCARE
Date: 21-23 October 2004 in Venice, Italy
This conference will present to the public the results
of PROCARE, an international research project comparing
and evaluating different modes of health and social care
delivery to the elderly in need of care in a number of
European countries. The research is carried out by a consortium
of ten organizations from nine European countries. Empirical
research will be discussed, along with policy recommendations
at local, national and European levels.
