Presentation Guidelines: When possible, we prefer to pair generic XML-related
standards and technology presentations with agency-specific XML implementation case
study briefings. Depending upon priorities and time constraints, vendor-specific
briefings may be accommodated. However, as a general rule such presentations
should: a) focus on how each vendor's product implements the applicable XML-related
standards and provides for interoperability, and/or b) be sponsored by a government
agency using the product. Priority will be given to presentations that relate
directly to the objectives
of the CIO Council's Emerging Technology Subcommittee, to which the XML Working Group
reports.
