Existing data has been transformed to the new structure. - Users may now enter planned direct costs as line items for all activities and treatments. Each line item consists of a cost, work agent, contract number, and a local contractor indicator. This allows multiple work agents to be assigned to a single activity or treatment. - The following business rules have been updated to accomodate planned direct cost line items: * Every activity and treatment must have at least one planned direct cost line item. * If a positive cost is entered for a line item, a work agent must be entered for that line item. * If a line item's work agent is not Service Contract, Timber Sale Purchaser, Coop Agreement, Grantee, or Permitee, the contract number and local contractor indicator fields are ignored. - Treatment units must now indicate the owner of the treatment unit's land - Federal, State, Municipal, County, Private, or Tribal. Existing data has been set to Federally-owned land. Fixes: - The search feature has been temporarily removed while technical issues are being resolved. ________________________________________________________________________________ Release 1.4.5 - May 23, 2003 Enhancements: - Forest Service ranger districts (subunits) have been added to the system; any activity or treatment imported from NFPInfo that had previously been assigned to a ranger unit has been retrofitted to the appropriate subunit. - The new Congressional districts defined in the 108th Congress have been loaded and all treatment units have been automatically updated to reflect the correct district. ________________________________________________________________________________ Release 1.4.4 - May 2, 2003 Enhancements: - Business rules for activities and treatments have been updated as follows: * If an actual completion date is entered, the accomplishment must be a positive number or zero. * If an actual completion date is entered, an actual initiation date must be entered that precedes the completion date. * The actual completion date must be in the same fiscal year as the actual initiation date, if the dates were entered. * If an actual accomplishment is entered, the actual initiation date is required. - Users may now enter an "obligation FY" for all activities and treatments. - The term "Non-WUI" has been replaced with "Other" in all reports. - The funding source "Suppression Activity Damage" is now available for Restoration & Rehabilitation activities and treatments. - The activity type "ES/BAER Plan" is now available for Restoration & Rehabilitation activities. - The "Treatment Totals" portlets in the unit-level portals now distinguish between actual and planned treatments. - The project count in the "Project Totals" portlets in the unit-level portals is now based on activities/treatments planned for the current FY. Users still have the ability to filter the list by fiscal year. - Projects in the Project portlet are sorted by last modified date rather than alphabetically by name. Projects that have been modified most recently will appear at the top of the list. - A field to track Local Project Number has been added. This field can be used to track locally defined project numbers. - Bureau/Agency level users can now request appropriate level access directly through the system. - A reports module has been added that allows users to run reports and export data to Excel.
