The Child Protection Division (CPD) administers programs related to crimes against children and provides leadership and funding in the areas of enforcement, intervention, and prevention. CPD promotes effective policies and procedures to address the problems of abused, neglected, missing, and exploited children. |

In cooperation with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, NCMEC provides services nationwide for families and professionals in the prevention of abducted, endangered, and sexually exploited children. NCMEC also assists law enforcement in the prosecution of the criminals who perpetrate these terrible crimes. |
