Outline of the U.S. Legal System

This book consists of an introduction explaining the basic structure, foundations, and a vocabulary of the terms used in the American legal system. It covers chapters in the history and organization of the Federal and State judicial systems; jurisdiction and policy-making boundaries; lawyers; litigants and interest groups in the judicial process; criminal and civil court processes; Federal judges; and implementation and impact of judicial policies.

Measuring 5.25 X 8.25 inches, Outline of the U.S. Legal System has 228 black and white pages and a separate four-color cover with over 50 black and white illustrated photos. Introductory price is $2.00 per copy. If we receive enough orders, this publication will be printed not only in English but also in Spanish, French, and Arabic.
