Current NPL Updates: New Proposed and New Final NPL Sites
The National Priorities List is updated periodically, as mandated by
CERCLA, (CERCLA
Overview). EPA publishes the list of NPL sites in the Federal Register.
The current update, September 23, 2004, proposes the addition of 14 sites and adds two sites to the NPL. The previous update, August 13, 2004, proposed the addition of the Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Area site to the NPL. Site-specific information,
including lists of site deletions, partial deletions, and construction
completions, are accessed from the NPL Site Status
Information page.
