Screening Partnership Program

In accordance with the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is actively developing the Screening Partnership Program (SPP), also referred to as the Private Security Screening Program or Opt-Out, and plans to be ready to accept applications from airport operators seeking to opt out on November 19, 2004

In an effort to provide information to the program, TSA has created this web page. This page contains links to program guidance, Frequently Asked Questions and press releases.  For more information about the program, please E-mail your questions to the SPP office.  TSA will collect all questions, and answers will be posted on this web page.
