WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ashley “Skip” Williams, the Federal Security Director at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif., has been named Interim Federal Security Director (FSD) at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today.

“Skip Williams is the personification of TSA’s commitment to continue to provide strong, top-notch leadership for our screeners at Houston and across the country,” said Rear Adm. David M. Stone, USN (Ret.), Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Transportation Security Administration.

Williams replaces Jerry Wyatt, the FSD at Houston since 2002.  Wyatt announced his resignation earlier today for personal reasons.

TSA expects to announce in the coming weeks new, permanent leadership at Houston Hobby.
