Content Notification Service
Frequently Asked Questions

Here is where your questions about the USCIS Online Content Notification Service are answered.

The only information this system collects is your e-mail address. No personal information is collected. Please see the Privacy Notice for more information.

Q. What is the Content Notification Service?
A. It is an e-mail service provided by USCIS to notify you when specific pages on USCIS.gov have been updated. Those specific pages are the Home page, and our various "What's New?" pages - only. You decide which of these pages you want to be notified about when they change by selecting them from the Subscription page.

Q. How can I unsubscribe or cancel this service?
A. See our Canceling Notifications page.

Q. Will I be able to receive a notice about when each and every page on USCIS.gov is updated?
A. No. You will be notified only about those specific pages noted above. Dozens of pages on USCIS.gov change every day. Only those pages with new or significantly updated information are noted on an appropriate What's New page. When the What's New page is changed, you will be notified.

Q. Will I have to renew my subscription to this service?
A. Yes. Once a year you will be notified by e-mail to confirm that you wish to continue your subscription.

Q. How can I make a comment about this service?
A. Visit our Feedback page. Either write to us at the address provided, or use the Internet-based service on that page to "make a comment". While your comment will be read, we are unable to promise a personal reply to your comment. We do encourage your feedback.
