Ready.gov is a common sense framework designed to launch a process of learning about citizen preparedness. One of the primary mandates of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is to educate the public, on a continuing basis, about how to be prepared in case of a national emergency – including a possible terrorist attack.

GovBenefits.gov Logo
GovBenefits.gov is a government Web site that helps you access benefit eligibility information through a free, confidential, and easy-to-use online screening tool. The tool asks basic questions about your current situation and then generates a customized report listing the benefit programs for which the you, or the person you are helping, may be eligible. The report details each benefit program and provides instructions on how to apply for assistance.


FirstGov.gov Logo
On FirstGov.gov, you can search more than 51 million web pages from federal and state governments, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. Most of these pages are not available on commercial websites. FirstGov has the most comprehensive search of government anywhere on the Internet.
