On this site you will find
the AM Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA) terms and conditions, the OAS-20 Request for
Rental Services and ARA instructions for each region of the country. The ARA can be
browsed on-line in (html format) or viewed/downloaded in (adobe format ) to your local PC and printed.
In addition to the ARA we have also provided links to the AM
Aircraft & Pilot Source Lists. Aviation Management has replaced all Basic Ordering Agreement's (BOA's) with
Aircraft Rental Agreement's (ARA's) in February 1999. The new document incorporates
Part 12, Commercial Item
Provisions from the Federal Acquisition Regulations
simplifying contract provisions. These provisions are tailored to meet the unique
requirements of DOI aviation contracts similar to the provisions that have proven to work
very well under formal contracts. The new ARA will continue to make 3,000 private sector
aircraft available for DOI use and will assure that vendors, aircraft and pilots in the
AM Rental Program meet DOI standards for aviation safety.
The Flight Coordination Center function in the lower 48
moved from the AM Headquarters' Office (Boise) to the Area Offices, in January 1999.
Vicki Johnston, Flight
