Program Description
The purpose of this program is to provide assistance to tribes to develop and provide vocational rehabilitation services, comparable to those provided by the state vocational rehabilitation agencies, to American Indians with disabilities living on or near a reservation. The program's goal is to enable these individuals to enter the workforce and regain or maintain employment. Vocational rehabilitation services are provided under an individualized plan for employment and may include native healing services.
