Network Research Team (NRT)

(Updated March 2004)

Overview

The Networking Research Team helps to coordinate Federal advanced networking research among the Federal agencies. Membership includes representatives of those Federal agencies with advanced networking research programs such as DARPA, DOE/SC, NASA, NIST, NSA, and NSF. The NRT coordinates agency research agendas, research programs, program reviews, and the planning of infrastructure to support advanced networking research.

The NRT reports to the Large Scale Networking (LSN) Coordinating Group of the Interagency Working Group from Information Technology Research and Development (IT R&D).
