How to Find an Answer
BEFORE you research our database of Qs and As, you should search our web site for the information you want. Type a key word in the search field at the top of this page. The Q&A; database should only be used if you cannot find the information you want on our web site.

We have over 500 Q&As; about CBP policies and procedures. You can search the database either by topic, (i.e. travel requirements, importing procedures, moving to the U.S.), by your role in the CBP process, (i.e. importer, traveler, carrier, etc.) or by a word search using the search bar . We STRONGLY suggest you use only one of the three tools to find answers. If you use all three, you will significantly restrict the number of answers offered for your review. If you do not find an answer to your question, you can submit your question and we will be glad to help you. ( Find an Answer, Ask a Question )
