Amanda C. Cromwell of Decatur, Georgia – Ms. Cromwell currently plays in the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) as a Defender/Midfielder for the Atlanta Beat. Prior to her acquisition by the Atlanta Beat she played for the Washington Freedom. Ms. Cromwell played for the U.S. Women's National Team from 1991 to 1998 where she was a Silver medalist at the 1993 World University Games; Bronze medalist at the 1995 Women's World Cup; and Gold medalist at the 1996 Olympics. While playing at the University of Virginia, where she earned her B.A. in Biology, Ms. Cromwell was a four-time All-ACC; two-time Soccer America All-MVP team; two-time All American; NCAA Quarter Finalist (1989 & 1990); and led the team to the Final Four in 1991 as team captain. Ms. Cromwell is currently the head women's soccer coach at the University of Central Florida, and is the owner and director of the Central Florida Soccer Academy.
