Jaime
A. Davidson,
M.D., FACP, FACE of Dallas, Texas – Dr. Davidson is currently with
Endocrine and Diabetes Associates of Texas and is a Clinical Associate
Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical
School. He is a Regent for Midwestern State University by
appointment of former Texas Governor, George W. Bush. Dr.
Davidson serves as Chair of the Managed Care Report Card, Texas
Diabetes Council, Texas Department of Health and is an advisor to
the Food and Drug Administration for Endocrinology and Metabolic
Diseases. He is serving a second term on the Board of Directors
of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists as well
as the American College of Endocrinology. Additionally, Dr.
Davidson is a committee member on the project Identifying Priority
Areas for Quality Improvement with the National Institute of
Medicine. He also serves on several editorial boards including
"Medico," "Endocrine Practice," "Medicina y Cultura," and, "Revista
de Nutricion y Metabolismo." Among the numerous awards Dr.
Davidson has received are the Rainbow Award from the American Diabetes
Association, the Order of the Eagle from the American Association
of Clinical Endocrinologists, and most recently, the Bernardo Alberto
Houssay Award.
