Ivette M. Lirio of Miami, Florida – Ms. Lirio is a secondary school physical education teacher and Assistant Athletic Director at Barbara Goleman Senior High School.  She has taught courses such as Personal Fitness, Team Sports I and II, Weight Training, Adaptive Physical Education, and Life Management.  Additionally, Ms. Lirio teaches personal fitness in the adult education program at her school.  She is coach of the girls soccer team and previously coached girls softball and volleyball.  Currently, she is also an adjunct professor at Florida International University teaching physical education courses to future physical educators.  Her expertise also benefits the Metro Dade Police Department, where she is involved with the mission to prevent destructive decisions among high school students.  Ms. Lirio has a B.S. degree in Physical Education and an M.S. degree in the same field.  Both are from Florida International University.
