The gym improvements will continue this week. The Ladies gym locker room will be closed for the week of Oct. 18-23.  There may be sporadic gym closures while the new basketball hoops and mats are installed.

BERA
(Brookhaven Employees Recreation Association)

BERA was established to promote and regulate Laboratory-wide recreational and social activities at Brookhaven National Laboratory within the control of the Laboratory's approved welfare and recreation program which is administered by the Staff Services Division.  The supervision of all activities is the responsibility of the Staff Services Manager. The Association shall promote athletic competition, cultural, and social activities and the use of the available recreational facilities on the site and will assist in the administration of the overall program.

BERA members are employees and retirees of BNL, BSA, or the Brookhaven Area Office of the U.S. Department of Energy, and members of their immediate families; persons with BNL or BSA guest, user, and visiting appointments, and members of their immediate families; employees of permanent on-site employers (such as the cafeteria, credit union, Upton Post Office, etc.), and members of their immediate families.
