Central Contractor Registration

Before doing business with USGS, vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system.  As a security precaution, vendors must register themselves through the on-line CCR system.  You will need a DUNS number to register.
  - Search D&B to see if your business already has a DUNS number
  - Instructions for obtaining a new DUNS number   Download Adobe Acrobat reader

SECURITY NOTICE:  If you are asked to provide your MPIN or to confirm or update your CCR registration data by mail, email, phone or fax,  please do not do so even if the request appears on official letterhead.   Requests to provide data outside the on-line system are part of a scheme to defraud contractors by obtaining bank account information.  Report such attempts promptly to the Department of Transportation Inspector General hotline at 1-800-424-9071.

NEW !! - On-Line Annual Reps & Certs

A FAR rule to be published in October 2004 will change the way vendors provide Representations and Certifications to contracting agencies.  Instead of including a lengthy set of provisions in each solicitation, vendors are now asked to maintain this information through the On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).  Vendors are encouraged to begin entering their information at any time, using your DUNS number and your CCR MPIN.

Individual contract solicitations will include a provision that permits vendors to provide different answers for that specific solicitation.
