After graduation, there are opportunities for Federal internships - programs designed to recruit and attract individuals into a variety of occupations. Upon successful completion of the internships, the interns may be eligible for permanent placement within an agency.

Presidential Management Intern Program
Many of our future leaders will come from the Federal Government's elite Presidential Management Intern Program. Due to the successful reputation and legacy of the PMI program and the students who have been hired through it, many Federal agencies have made the PMI program a cornerstone of their succession and workforce planning of the future. The need for competent, motivated and dedicated Federal workforce has never been greater.

Air Force Civilian Intern Program
Although the Air Force, along with other Department of Defense components, has experienced a period of downsizing to meet changes in the political, social, economic, technological, and demographic environment, the need to recruit and develop future leaders remains a top priority.
Department of Justice Attorney General's Honor Program
The Attorney General's Honors Program (Honors Program) is the Department's attorney recruitment program for third-year law students, graduate law students and judicial law clerks (for all Department organizations except the 94 U.S. Attorneys' Offices, which generally do not hire entry-level attorneys). The highly competitive Honors Program is the only mechanism for hiring graduating law students.

Centers for Medicare or Medicaid Services, Federal Career Intern Program
An agency program to recruit and attract exceptional men and women who have a variety of experience, academic disciplines, or competencies necessary for the effective analysis and execution of public programs. A two-year training program offering Federal benefits as well as promotion opportunity and eligiblity for conversion to career-conditional status upon completion of the program.
NASA Contracting Intern Program
Entry into the NCIP is designed for college graduates and provides a structured training program, diverse rotational assignments, and extensive on-the-job training. The program's goal is to provide a valuable resource of candidates for employment at one of the NASA Field Centers. Participants work under the guidance of qualified procurement personnel performing duties directly related to the contracting field.
