Ultimate Consignee Reporting Requirements 09/23/2004 Effective October 1, 2004, new requirements will be instituted at ports of entry to correct weaknesses in the current CBP policy pertaining to the identification of the Ultimate Consignee and will occur at the time of entry or release in order to unify entry release and entry summary Ultimate Consignee procedures.
Trade Act of 2002 Informed Compliance Implementation for Trucks
(doc - 114 KB.) 09/24/2004 An informed compliance notice for truckers will be distributed beginning October 1, 2004 and effective Nov 15, 2004. CBP officers will present notice to truckers when found out of compliance with the new U.S. advance electronic cargo information regulations (19 CFR 123.92).
