  • Daniela  from Arizona  says:
I'm 100% Sicialian. My mom's parents came to the USA from Sicily!
  • Eideen  from Louisiana  says:
I know my family comes from Ireland. We've had members of my family in this country for hundreds of years! We first came and settled in Maryland and then moved to the south and that's where we have stayed for a long time. I'm totally 100% an American girl, but I love some of the things my family still has from Ireland, like this wooden carving that we have in the living room. It's really old.

  • Sasha  from Louisiana  says:
I am proud of my race/ethnicity because I enjoy being a mixed-blood person! I am part Irish, part Cuban, part French, part Scottish, part Isleno. I like having many different cultures in my background!
  • Katie  from Virginia  says:
I like the fact that I have red hair and blue eyes. I have a lot of frekels. I think this comes from the Irish side of my family. That's what my mom says. Even though not a lot of girls have red hair, and I get a sunburn easily, I still like it!

I am very proud of my heritage. Because my family comes from Belgium. I like Belgium because of the great food and the cookies that my Grandma makes. I like to listen to my Grandfather's voice, he talks funny. Belgium is a very small country in Europe. Very few Belgians live in America.
  • Elizabeth Grippando  from Oklahoma  says:
My favorite things about my heritage is that i am Italina and that makes me proud because there aren't very many Italians in the U.S. I love to eat as much Italian food as I want. When I get older I want to move to Italy cuz it is the most beutiful place in the world.

Life is busy...how do you manage your time and stay organized? Do you have any special tips?

  • Chelsey  from Washington  says:
I stay organized at school by taking notes in every class and keeping my binder and backpack clear of excess papers and pencils. At home I always keep my room clean and organized with boxes and holders in out of the way places. After school I always finish my homework and practice piano first thing to leave more time for the things I enjoy. Keeping organized allows me to spend more quaility time with family and friends. I hope my lifestyle will give you a headstart on an organized life.
  • Kayla  from Maryland  says:
Hi my name is Kayla and I am in the eighth grade. Even when you're busy, you have to take time for yourself. I have a lot of things to do before I lay my head on my pillow. I have to go to school, do homework, talk to my friends, talk to my mother, take a bath, eat, and have time to my self! That is a lot. Sometimes you have to take time to just be you because life isn't about making everyone else happy. You should be happy yourself!
  • Anonymous  says:
hi, i think the best way to manage your time is to keep a diary to write what you plan on doing before you do it. If you're too busy, sometimes it helps to talk to someone about it. Other people can sometimes help you out.
  • Allie  from Florida  says:
Life is busy for me, I'm a JV cheerleader at my High School and sometimes I feel like I can't seem to keep up with my school work, cheerleading practice, friends, boys, and parents! I tend to get stressed out at first and then I talk to someone about it, They tell me what I need to do to get on the right track and how to Manage my time.
  • Lindsey  from Mississippi  says:
Ok--first you have try to not go along with everything somebody says. For example, if the music teacher asks you if you want to be in the play--if you know that you have gmynastics that day then don't say yes.

This web site is the bomb. I hope more girls will come to this web site to find out more about speaking up, fitness, nutrition, etc. You will have fun on this web site. I like this page the best. See you later.
  • Andrea  from Virginia  says:
The good thing about this website is that you get to express your self any way you want and you don't have to lie about it. Also, you can get a lot of advice here.
  • Caroline  from North Carolina  says:
My favorite thing about this website is the bully section. I liked that quiz because I didn't realize that sometimes I bully other kids. It makes me sad to think that bullys can grow up to be bad adults too.
