Medical Situational Awareness in the Theater (MSAT) ACTD

OSD(HA)’s Deployment Health Support Directorate has put together an Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) for a system that will provide timely, actionable medical situational awareness information to Combatant Commanders. The MSAT concept is to fuse current and emerging technologies and apply artificial intelligence and computerized decision support systems to transform collected, scattered data into timely, actionable information and knowledge for Combatant Commanders. The MSAT ACTD will be briefed to the FY 2005 Breakfast Club on January 28, 2004.
