CECOM offers summer positions where you gain experience directly related to your educational program and career goals. There is potential for a permanent job upon completion of requirements for your degree not only to work at CECOM Fort Monmouth but at other CECOM locations such as Ft. Belvoir & Ft. Lee VA, Ft. Meade, MD & Ft. Huachuca AZ. The required 640 hours of work before completing your degree can be accomplished during school or during breaks or combination thereof. Students are eligible for promotions, sick and vacation leave, 401-type retirement plan, life and health insurance, tuition assistance and many of the life amenities CECOM offers.

On-site housing at Fort Monmouth is available to students and trainees at a reasonable cost, generally for a period of six months. Engineering & Science students and trainees have priority but housing may be offered to other students and trainees on a space available basis.

Interested individuals may submit a resume that will be circulated by the Human Resources Office to managers who are hiring or, they may apply for a specific position. Please note that a copy of your college transcript is required if you are interested in a co-op position or an entry-level technical position. Specify in your cover letter the business or technology area(s) and geographic location(s) you are interested in.
