FOIA
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 USC 552, generally provides that any person has a right of access to federal agency records, unless the records (or any portion of the records) are protected from disclosure by one of the FOIA's nine exemptions or by one of its three special law enforcement record exclusions. This Web page provides a brief overview of OTS's FOIA program.
As a component of the Department of the Treasury, the OTS follows Treasury guidance. For detailed information regarding FOIA regulations and procedures, visit the Department of the Treasury FOIA site. (Link to an External Website) (01/11/2002)
