New Alerts Service New Replaced Wage Determinations

The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) will be transitioning from its fee-based online subscription services for the Davis-Bacon and Service Contract Database products to the new Wage Determinations Online program (WDOL.gov) at http://www.wdol.gov. This new site provides a single location for federal contracting officers to use in obtaining appropriate Service Contract Act (SCA) and Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) wage determinations (WDs) for each official contract action. The website is available to the general public as well.

As a result, NTIS subscriptions to Davis-Bacon and/or Service Contract Database online products providing subscribers the ability to search and retrieve wage determinations from NTIS' online host system(s) will not be available after September 30, 2004. NTIS subscribers to Davis-Bacon and/or Service Contract Database online products will be given individual notices of this, and customers will receive a prorated refund of the amount remaining on their subscription. Customers who wish to cancel their subscription sooner may do so by contacting the NTIS Subscriptions Department in writing via e-mail at subscriptions@ntis.gov or by fax at 703-605-6880. Please provide your User ID in your cancellation request.

WDOL.gov is part of the Integrated Acquisition Environment, one of the E-Government initiatives in the President's Management Agenda. It is a collaborative effort of the Office of Management and Budget, Department of Labor, Department of Defense, General Services Administration, Department of Energy, and Department of Commerce.

The Davis Bacon Wage Determination Database contains wage determinations made by the U.S. Department of Labor under the mandate of the Davis-Bacon Act and related legislation. The Department determines prevailing wage rates for construction-related occupations in most counties in the United States. All Federal Government construction contracts and most contracts for federally assisted construction over $2,000 must contain Davis-Bacon wage determinations.

Subscribers please note: You will be prompted for a username and password to access portions of this site. Your initial username and password are your customer number. Once you have authenticated, please go to the User Administration section to change your password. Passwords not changed within 30 days will be expired, and users will be required to contact the help desk to reset their password.
