LEAD Participant Agreement

The Lead Program requires a significant commitment from the participant and AFM management.

In signing this contract the applicant commits to:
  • taking the initiative and responsibility for their own development,
  • actively participating in all LEAD activities,
  • striving to fully develop leadership competencies in themselves,
  • communicating clearly and regularly with their supervisor and others,
  • readily accepting details and temporary duty station changes as required, and
  • developing an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
Management commits to:
  • funding, training, travel, memberships, books, and other materials deemed essential,
  • supporting, coaching, and encouraging participants,
  • providing developmental opportunities and time for self development, and
  • continuous communication regarding progress.
