Federal agencies are recruiting for many different occupations. Agencies announce their jobs through the USAJOBS job searches. Many judicial and legislative branch jobs are included in the searches.
JUDICIAL BRANCH

Job opportunities in the Judicial Branch are limited.

Federal Judicial Center
    The Federal Judicial Center is the education and research agency for the federal courts.

U.S. Sentencing Commission
    The United States Sentencing Commission establishes sentencing policies and practices for the federal courts; advises and assists Congress and the executive branch in the development of effective and efficient crime policy; and collects, analyzes researches, and distributes a broad array of information on Federal crime and sentencing issues

U.S. Courts
    This site lists vacancies for the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeals, U.S. District Courts, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. Not all of the Judiciary's employment opportunities are found here; other announcements may exist on each court's web site.

    The Architect of the Capitol is responsible to the United States Congress for the maintenance, operation, development, and preservation of the United States Capitol Complex, which includes the Capitol, the congressional office buildings, the Library of Congress buildings, the Supreme Court building, the U.S. Botanic Garden, the Capitol Power Plant, and other facilities.


Congressional Budget Office (CBO)

General Accounting Office (GAO)
    The General Accounting Office is the investigative arm of Congress. GAO exists to support the Congress in meeting its Constitutional responsibilities and to help improve the performance and ensure the accountability of the federal government for the American people.


General Printing Office
    The Government Printing Office (GPO) in Washington, D.C., is the largest general printing plant in the world. Although the GPO is a Legislative Branch agency, most of our positions are in the competitive civil service.


Library of Congress
    The Library's mission is to make its resources available and useful to the Congress and the American people and to sustain and preserve a universal collection of knowledge and creativity for future generations.
