| The electronic Annual Index is unique from previous paper annual indexes
in that the indexes and bibliographic records for the year are now included
in this one source. The Annual Index provides all records contained in the
weekly issues of the eOG:P. The eOG:P records contain bibliographic information,
including classification, inventor and assignee, as well as a representative
claim and drawing (if applicable). Consistent with the weekly eOG:P issues,
patents are indexed and browsable by classification and type of patent (utility,
plant, etc.), as well as by patentee name and geographical location of the
inventor. Links are provided from all indexes to the eOG:P record for that
patent. |

| In addition, the Annual Index contains the Official Gazette Notices,
covering both patents and trademarks, the Consolidated Listing of Official
Gazette Notices Re-Patent and Trademark Office Practices and Procedures,
a listing of Patent and Trademark Depository Libraries, and several statistical
files. The Annual Index is not included in the price of the annual subscription
of the eOG:P and is published on one DVD-ROM disc. |
