IRS e-file plans to relocate the Electronic Management System, currently at the Austin Submission Processing Center, to the Enterprise Computing Center at Martinsburg, WV.

Addition of New Transmitter Encryption Capabilities and Discontinuance of Non-Encrypted Capabilities for IRS e-file
Important announcement about IRS e-file plans to add new transmitter encryption capabilites beginning November 2004 and discontinuance of non-encrypted capabilities November 2005. Software Developers will need to modify their programs to accommodate these capabilities. Software Developers should request the Interface Control Document by August 15, 2004.
