HAVA Title II Requirements Payments Processed by the EAC as of September 29, 2004

Estimated Allocation of Funds FY 2003, 2004
This chart shows the estimated allocation of funds appropriated in fiscal years 2003 and 2004 for HAVA Title II "requirements payments" to States, to help them meet the minimum standards set forth in HAVA (voting systems standards, provisional voting and voting information requirements, computerized statewide voter registration list requirements and requirements for voters who register by mail). These funds have not been distributed, due to the delay in establishing the Election Assistance Commission. States may file their statements of certification, required to receive these funds, after the 45-day period following publication of State plans in the Federal Register. State plans were published on March 24, 2004, so the States may file their statements of certification after May 8, 2004. (YET TO BE DISTRIBUTED)
