The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) announced today the debut of its revised web site at: www.flra.gov. The FLRA's web site has been in existence since 1997. The web site provides the public with easy access to important information. The web site was remodeled to provide additional information about the FLRA and to reorganize the site to make it more user-friendly and appealing to the public.

Here is a partial list of some of the enhancements to the web site:

• A new simplified display for the home page contains a series of organized clickable menu bars which enable the user to have quick access to information on a variety of topics;
   
• Considerable new and useful information about the processes of the FLRA's three components - the Authority, the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), and the Federal Service Impasses Panel - with hypertext linking between the new documents for ease of access to the information;
   
• A new map of the United States with geographic jurisdictions of the seven Regions color-coded so that a mere click takes the user to a Regional Office page;
   
• A listing of pertinent phone numbers and e-mail addresses (hyperlinked) for, among other things, Office of Case Control, Regional Office and OGC Headquarters employees;
   
• Easy access to the FLRA's search engine and thousands of additional pages of FLRA decisions issued prior to April 1, 1991; and
   
• Summaries of FLRA Court Opinions with links to full text, in addition to FLRA and FSIP decisions.

The FLRA is an independent agency that administers the labor-management relations program for 1.9 million non-Postal Service Federal employees worldwide, approximately 1.1 million of whom are exclusively represented in 2,200 bargaining units. It is charged with providing leadership in establishing policies and guidance related to Federal sector labor-management relations and with resolving disputes under and ensuring compliance with the Statute. The public is encouraged to visit the FLRA's web site to see its new design and the additional information that is now available there.
