FLRA DEBUTS NEW AND IMPROVED WEB SITE

The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) announced today the debut of its revised web site at: www.flra.gov. The FLRA's web site has been in existence since 1997. The web site provides the public with easy access to important information. The web site was remodeled to provide additional information about the FLRA and to reorganize the site to make it more user-friendly and appealing to the public.

Here is a partial list of some of the enhancements to the web site:

The FLRA is an independent agency that administers the labor-management relations program for 1.9 million non-Postal Service Federal employees worldwide, approximately 1.1 million of whom are exclusively represented in 2,200 bargaining units. It is charged with providing leadership in establishing policies and guidance related to Federal sector labor-management relations and with resolving disputes under and ensuring compliance with the Statute. The public is encouraged to visit the FLRA's web site to see its new design and the additional information that is now available there. For answers to questions or comments about the web site, send the webmaster an e-mail (click on the webmaster link on the home page) or contact Richard Zorn at 202-482-6680 x210.
