Courthouse Committee  The Board has organized an advisory committee on courthouse accessibility.

bulletDOJ Notice  The Department of Justice issues an advance notice on revising its ADA standards according to the Board's new guidelines.

bulletNew ADA-ABA Guidelines  The Board published new guidelines under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA).

Workshop Report  A report is now available on an international workshop on space requirements for wheeled mobility aids held last fall in Buffalo, NY.

International Outreach  Board to conduct international outreach and coordination efforts.

bulletPlay Surfaces  Results are in on a study the Board sponsored on play surface treatments. 

bulletRights-of-Way Guidelines  The Board identifies key issues among public comments on its draft guidelines for public rights-of-way.

bulletEvacuation Planning  Resources on evacuation and emergency planning that accommodates persons with disabilities are posted by the Board.  

bulletClassroom Acoustics  New industry standard on classroom acoustics approved.  

AIA logoOn-line Course  The Board and the AIA have developed an on-line training course on ADA Accessibility Guidelines for courthouses, prisons, and children's environments.
