NIOSH will not be convening the National Occupational Injury Research
Symposium (NOIRS) in 2006. NIOSH is serving on the National Organizing
Committee for the XVIIth World Congress, and is providing input to the
themes, programs, and presentations for this upcoming conference. We encourage
all NOIRS attendees to take advantage of this international opportunity
to present and exchange occupational injury research by participating
in the XVIIth World Congress. The 4th National Occupational Injury Research
Symposium is tentatively planned for October, 2008.
