Key RESNA programs include the Annual Conference and Exhibits, publication of the journal, Assistive Technology, RESNA Publications, a Credentialing Program for assistive technology service providers, Professional Development opportunities, and participation in Special Interest Groups and Professional Specialty Groups. RESNA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the International Standards Organization (ISO) to develop standards for assistive technology. The RESNA Technical Assistance Project provides technical support to the 56 State Tech Act projects through a grant from NIDRR, U.S. Department of Education.
