The National Technical Information Service serves our nation as the largest central resource for government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available today. The NTIS mission supports the nation’s economic growth by providing access to information that stimulates innovation and increases U.S. competitiveness in the global economy.
You can access information on more than 600,000 of these products by searching the database on the NTIS web site. Products are available in a variety of formats including electronic download, online access, CD-ROM, magnetic tape, diskette, multimedia, microfiche and paper. Thousands of new products are added each month. Additionally, many documents can be downloaded directly from the NTIS archival copy for a nominal charge.

The Homeland Security Information Center at NTIS describes scientific and technical information from the U.S. Government related to Homeland Security. Categories include: health & medicine, food & agriculture, biological & chemical warfare, preparedness & response and safety training packages.

Services for Federal Agencies: NTIS manages a 3-million title collection covering over 350 subject areas for over 200 federal agencies that is growing at a rate of 45,000 titles per year. NTIS bridges the gap between federal government information and those in U.S. business, industry, and academia who put that information to work.

Services available include: Web development and hosting, e-learning management systems, multimedia production, inventory management and dissemination, print-on-demand and satellite broadcast.
