Student Programs

We hire college or university students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in science or engineering who wish to alternate semesters of work and study. Summer Program

We hire high school or college students who wish to work during the summer or during school vacations. For information about the Summer Program, see Contact Us About Employment, and select "Summer Employment" from the dropdown list.

The Office of General Counsel periodically sponsors summer internships for students in law school. Internships during the school year may also be arranged. See the Office of General Counsel Internship Program page for more information on how to apply for the program. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Program

NRC has a program for grants to students (and faculty) at historically black colleges and universities. Read more about the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) program and how to apply.

To Apply for a Student Program

To apply for the Co-Operative Education Program, send resume and transcript to Co-Ops@nrc.gov. For summer or temporary positions, send resume and transcript to Summer-Emp@nrc.gov.
