The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is a small, independent regulatory agency that is dedicated to protecting the American public from injuries and deaths associated with consumer products. To help us accomplish this lifesaving mission, we are looking for people who are talented, creative, energetic, and enthusiastic and who can contribute to our goals as individuals and as team members.

What Kind Of Work Can I Do?

You may choose from a variety of exciting fields such as:

  • Legal/Compliance (*Currently accepting resumes)
  • Computer Science
  • Scientific and Engineering
  • Administrative

How Much Will I Earn?

Students can be hired at the GS-1 through the GS-7 level (Salary ranges from $15,125-$28,866 per annum). Salary would be commensurate with education and experience. There are also opportunities for students to work as volunteers (unpaid internships).
