Student Opportunities that Soar
Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), through its student educational employment
programs (SEEP), offers students the opportunity to enhance their job
skills through hands-on training and mentoring while pursuing their education. Our program offers economic assistance for some and a head start toward career goals for others. It is based on the proven concept that education works best, and is most useful for future careers, when students apply what they learn to real life, real work situations. Eglin AFB offers the following Student Education Employment Programs:
Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP)
Student Career Experience Program (SCEP)
High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP)
Summer Hire Program
Workforce Recruitment Program for Students with Disabilities
School-to-Work Program (Volunteer program)

SEEP Eligibility Requirements:
- A student enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree-seeking (diploma, certificate, etc.) student, and
- Is taking as least a half-time academic or vocational and technical course load in an accredited high school, technical or vocational school, two or four year college or university, graduate, or professional school, and
- Is a U.S. citizen or a national (resident of American Samoa or Swains Island).

Student must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and be continuously enrolled in an accredited school.
