* Childhood cancer was added to the Web site. This includes all cancers for Ages 0-14 and Ages 0-19.

April 2004

* US Cancer Statistics: 2000 Incidence data for diagnosis year 2000 was added for data provided by the National Program of Cancer Registries Cancer Surveillance System (NPCR-CSS) from data submitted to NPCR-CSS in January 2003 by state health departments or their designees.
* Incidence data for diagnosis year 2001 was added for state and metropolitan area central cancer registries from data submitted to the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program in November 2003. This data was also released in the Cancer Statistics Review.
* Updated death data through 2001 provided by the National Vital Statistics System public use data file was added.
* Additional cancer sites, including
