EGRPRA Regulatory Burden Study - The Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA) is a project to identify and eliminate outdated, unnecessary or unduly burdensome regulations imposed on insured depository institutions. Under EGRPRA, the federal financial agencies must review their regulations at least once every 10 years. The agencies will publish notices and request comments in the Federal Register as part of a three-year joint effort to obtain suggestions from the industry and public on more streamlined and less burdensome ways to regulate.
