Army Medical Department. This Web site provides an introduction to the U.S. Army Medical Department's (AMEDD) headquarters organizations, which are the Office of the Army Surgeon General and U.S. Army Medical Command headquarters.

Army Medical Surveillance Activity. AMSA, part of the US Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (USACHPPM), is the central epidemiological resource for the Army providing regularly scheduled and customer-requested analyses and reports to policy makers, medical planners, and researchers.

The U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventative Medicine's Deployment Medication Information Sheets (DMIS) provide information on vaccines and other preventive medications soldiers will receive in preparation for movement and/or during their deployment.

United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. USAMRMC is a major subordinate command of the Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), responsible for life cycle management of medical materiel, from basic laboratory research through advanced development, prototyping, procurement, delivery to units, maintenance and disposal.
