Larry E. Trujillo, Sr.
Rocky Mountain (8) Native American Business Center
The NABC Open House held October 20.

Mission:

The Native American Business Center (NABC) will reach out to the American Indian/Alaska Native small business community by providing facilities, supplies, technology, and other resources to support economic prosperity and streamline the acquisition process.  In addition, the NABC will provide the American Indian and Alaska Native small business communities with resources and information that will assist them in learning how to tap into the government contracting market.  Finally, the NABC will assist all agencies currently providing service to the American Indian and Alaska Native populations.

To Assist Customers:

The NABC will develop business among the various Indian Nations by providing its customers access to the full range of services and products offered by the Public Buildings Service (PBS), Federal Supply Service (FSS), and the Federal Technology Service (FTS).

To Assist Vendors:

The NABC will reach out to and partner with American Indian and Alaska Native-owned small businesses to build relationships, increase revenue and increase market share.  This will also address the Bush Administration’s socio-economic goals for development of small businesses and subcontracting opportunities with Tribal enterprise and American Indian and Alaska Native business.

To Assist Other Agencies:

The NABC will coordinate efforts with agencies that have similar business initiatives including the Small Business Administration, Minority Business Development Agency, Bureau of the Census, the Federal Communications Commission as well as other governmental agencies and trade associations.
