Groundwater Quality 2004: 4th International Conference

The USGS is one of the many co-sponsors for Groundwater Quality 2004: 4th International Conference, at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, on July 19-22, 2004. The conference seeks to present information on issues such as the fate of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, nutrients, industrial waste, and waste waters in ground water, and the impact of surface water on ground-water quality, and many others. USGS scientist Dr. Ronald Harvey is on the Scientific Advisory Committee for the conference.
